What toys do kids play with around the world? This is the question that the four year olds in the Redwood and Willow classrooms at Brown-Fox Point Early Childhood Education Center explored at the Haffenreffer. After looking at objects, using gentle hands, and asking questions, these children have curated their favorite toys from the collection. This exhibition serves as a final project for a year-long experience of hands-on discovery in the museum and their classroom where the children explored topics in anthropology and museum practices, learning about cultures and people around the world.
The exhibit is on view now at the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology which is located in Manning Hall on the Main Green at Brown University.
